Enjoy an unforgettable night out during Third Thursdays at the National Liberty Museum! Held monthly, this vibrant after-hours event transforms the Museum into a lively social scene to connect with friends, spark inspiration, or simply unwind in a unique atmosphere. Sip on specialty cocktails and mocktails crafted exclusively for the night and enjoy an eclectic mix of creative entertainment—from live music and performance art to engaging workshops and interactive experiences. Each Third Thursday offers exclusive access to the Museum’s galleries, allowing you to explore thought-provoking exhibits in a relaxed, intimate setting.

Third Thursdays are 21+ events. IDs will be checked upon entry.

Don’t miss the last Third Thursday of the year, as we close out the series with a powerhouse band and high-energy vibes guaranteed to get you dancing. We’ll be taking a break in November and December, but stay tuned as Third Thursdays return in 2026 to celebrate the power of free assembly.

Swing That Cat

Swing That Cat Born out of a simple idea and a love of good music, Swing That Cat is on a mission, with a message: dance your tail off! What more could you ask for from a band that sounds like a Sonic Cocktail of Jump Blues swizzled in Horny Swing, with a dash of Cabaret, and a splash of Bourbon Street. This female-led band, backed by cats howling “Yo Philly” with horns, guitar, bass, and drums, have earned their stripes at shows and streaming around the world. In June 2025, Swing That Cat released a new full length studio album “LEAP.”
