Named Philadelphia Magazine Best Rapper of 2022, Küf Knotz (Producer/MC) and Christine Elise (Harpist/Vocalist) have brought their unique blend of hip-hop, soul and classical traditions to various communities. The unlikely pair connected and built a similar bond to creating positive, forward thinking music fusing hip-hop with the boom bap era and lo-fi inspired beats supported by the harp. Their performance takes you on an era fusing, genre bending journey. And, you can dance to it. The duo has opened for Wyclef Jean, Yellowman, Rising Appalachia, Slick Rick, Say She She, Afroman, Wax Tailor (US Tour Support), Liniker, G-Love, Talib Kweli, Ozomatli, Raging Fya, Eubanks & Evans Experience, Digable Planets and have been featured on NPR Music and WHYY. kufknotz.com
Marshall James Kavanaugh | Dream Poet for Hire
Marshall James Kavanaugh is a dream laborer of words and various art forms used to create poetic dream spaces for his readership to explore. His works contain a culture driven attempt at documenting the creative activism of his generation. Over the years, he has taken his poetry to streets, art galleries, and performance venues around the country. In 2017-2019, he co-organized a series of readings across the country with a variety of performers under the moniker, Poets For Peace. The tours culminated in the publication of two zines by the Poets For Peace in the summer of 2020 as a mutual aid response for the Black Lives Matter movement. @dreampoetforhire
