The National Liberty Museum was thrilled to receive a 2020 arts and culture grant from the city of Philadelphia via the Philadelphia Cultural Fund.
The Museum was approved for a multi-year grant with the Fund, providing us with vital support that allows us to advance our mission. With consistent support from the Philadelphia Cultural Fund, the Museum has expanded its core offerings to include a range of envelope-pushing special events, exciting exhibitions by local and international artists, and impactful programs for children, families, and adults.
We are so honored to receive this grant from our city, and we extend special thanks to Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and our District’s City Councilmember, Mark Squilla. The city’s vital support of our work allows the National Liberty Museum to continue to bring liberty to life through stories of people whose character and courage have expanded liberty for all.
