Call to Artists

Philly Loves Bowie Week (January 3-12) is an annual volunteer production created by a family of committed fans of the superstar David Bowie who felt it was important to gather together as a community to celebrate a truly one-of-a-kind performer. The National Liberty Museum will be participating in these Bowie-themed events with an exhibition in our GlassAccess Gallery called, We Can Be Heroes.

Artists who use glass, clay, paint, pencil, video, and other materials are invited to submit their works which relate to the general theme of David Bowie. Learn more and apply to participate today.

Destined for the Stars

In this limited-time show, artist Ricky Bernstein celebrates victories over life’s everyday challenges, making the point that we are all heroes in our own right.
