Bethany Kuster, who received the National Liberty Museum’s TD Bank Young Heroes Award in 2016, appeared on the Steve Harvey Show on Thursday, January 19, 2017, when Mr. Harvey honored several young people who make a difference in the lives of others.
A 10-year-old from Pen Argyl, PA, Bethany was just in fourth-grade when she started a program called Color For Kids, which ships crayons and other art supplies to children and classes around the nation that struggle financially to provide those materials to students.
With donations and help from her classmates, at the time of this appearance Bethany had distributed 123,000 crayons and thousands of other supplies to schools nationwide.
“It makes me happy to feel I can make a difference in kids’ lives,” Bethany told Mr. Harvey.
