Character traits are the inherent qualities that make you who you are! At the National Liberty Museum, we believe there are 6 key character traits that every Young Hero possesses: Courage, Perseverance, Empathy, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.
Do you fell like you may not have some of these character traits? Don’t worry – you do! These character traits are like muscles: we all already have them, but in order to make them strong, we have to make sure we use them. So what are you waiting for? Start strengthening your character traits with the activities below.
At the end of each school year, the NLM's Young Heroes Outreach Program, which brings the Museum’s civic leadership curriculum directly into area schools, holds a grand celebration to showcase the Social Action Projects created by all of the participating schools. This year the celebration was a VIRTUAL event and their projects are available for viewing on this website!
