Volunteer Opportunities

Over the years many friends of the National Liberty Museum have volunteered at our annual Glass Auction & Gala. The tasks they handle include helping us set up the ballroom, greeting and registering guests, recording auction results, assisting guests with picking up their purchases, and much more. Our volunteers have told us that it is both a fun and rewarding experience, and many have returned year after year. If this sounds like something you would like to do, we invite you to complete and submit the Volunteer Application below.

This year’s auction will be held on Saturday, October 6, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Most volunteers will be asked to arrive at 3pm  The auction concludes at approximately 10pm. Some volunteers remain throughout the entire evening; others leave earlier depending upon the assignment you receive.

GiveBack Workshops

GiveBack Workshops at NLM are a unique way of volunteering and the perfect spark to activate your family’s sense of empathy, respect, and responsibility, the character traits that make someone a true hero of liberty. A different GiveBack Workshop is held once each month on a Saturday morning. You and your children will work together to complete a “make-and-donate” activity specifically designed by the partner organization for that month.
