IDs will be checked upon entry. \n  \nTHIS MONTH \nGet ready to laugh as stand-up comedy takes center stage in a celebration of free expression and community connection. \nDoors open at 5:30 pm  |  Show begins at 6:30 pm \n  \nChip Chantry \nChip Chantry is a stand up comedian\, television writer and actor who can be seen in his role as Kyle the Liar on the Netflix comedy series Tires\, his debut comedy special Move Closer\, and as co-host of the comedy travel podcast Sunburnt. With his sharp writing and energetic stage presence\, Chip keeps audiences on their toes\, shifting easily from hard-hitting one-liners to well-crafted hilarious storytelling. Formerly a 4th grade teacher\, Chip Chantry left the classroom to pursue a career as a comedian. touring nationally and opening for acts such as Sarah Silverman\, Dave Chappelle\, Bob Saget\, and Gary Gulman. Coming up in the Philadelphia comedy scene\, Chip won Helium Comedy Club’s “Philly’s Phunniest” contest\, and was named “Best Comedian 2018” by Philadelphia Magazine. @chipchantry \n  \nKirsten Michelle Cills \nKirsten Michelle Cills is a Philly-native terminally ill comic known for her macabre demeanor and the oxygen tank that often accompanies her. Kirsten has headlined across the country\, and has been able to open for international headliners such as Tim Meadows\, Judy Gold\, Laurie Kilmartin\, Sean Patton\, Katherine Blanford\, and more. In addition to headlining clubs\, colleges\, and corporate events\, Kirsten recently at the Big Pine Comedy Festival & the Boston Comedy Festival\, where she was named ‘Best of Fest’ at both events. Go Birds. @kircomedy \n  \nKirk Griffiths \nKirk Griffiths has a knack for making people laugh\, chuckle\, and whistle expressions of joy. He has performed in comedy clubs\, theaters\, festivals\, basements\, attics\, and once: a quinceañera (hope that you are doing well\, Jessica!) Kirk has featured for national headliners Mike Birbiglia\, Chris Gethard\, Michelle Buteau and a variety of other comedy veterans. As an alumni of Kutztown University who originally hails from the Bronx\, NY\, Kirk offers a range of perspective that can be heard throughout bodegas and cul-de-sacs. His passion for comedy is only equaled by his passion for cereal. He hosts at Helium Comedy Club\, Punchline Philly and produces and hosts a bustling weekly bar show called Off Leash Comedy at Fergie’s Pub. Shane is a Features Contributor to the Onion. He also performs at other clubs across the country\, even New Jersey.
