Make a statement and design your own custom button inspired by our museum exhibitions or your own unique vision. Strike a pose and capture the memories with friends and family in our themed photo booth. \nLet Freedom Ring \nMake a donation in support of the Museum for the opportunity to let freedom ring by sounding our replica of the famous Liberty Bell. \n“On Our 250th” Wish Wall \nWe’re partnering with Made By Us\, The New York Historical\, and history museums across the country to invite YOU to share your wish for the United States’ 250th birthday\, coming next year. What are your hopes for the future of America? Who do we want to be a year from now? 10 years from now? 100? Now is your chance to make your voice heard. Contribute to our pop-up “Wish Wall” on site from Juneteenth through July 4\, or add your wish at OnOur250th.org. \nThe Art of the Word: Drop-In Art Making inspired by Word Powered Artist Shelley Brenner Baird \nIs there a word that holds power for you or one you think should be championed to the world? Draw inspiration from the work of Word Powered exhibition artist Shelley Brenner Baird to create your own letter mash-up “power word” to take home. Baird has recently focused on campaign signs\, deconstructing them and reconstructing the letters into new words and phrases. Visitors can tap into the immense power of words by using letters cut from election yard signs to create their own word art. \nVisitors of all ages are invited to drop in and create between 10 am and 5 pm.
