Beer, Wine, & Mind
June 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Wish you had known about mindfulness as a kid? Still want to learn how to meditate or just deepen your conviction to practice it? Join us at the National Liberty Museum for this playful, hands-on event that introduces you to universal mindfulness concepts and brain science.
Make your own mind jar, design an anchor bracelet, blow bubbles, and more. This event is BYOB. Your ticket includes all materials and activities, as well as access to our museum galleries following the program.
More than twenty-five years of research have proven that mindfulness reduces stress, anxiety and depression; and increases attention, focus and well-being. Cheers to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for us all!
This event is facilitated by Stacey Mandel of Bubbles & Flashlights. Stacey uses an eclectic approach that combines the best elements from her own mindfulness practice, parenting experience and curricula/trainings, including The Still Quiet Place, Mindful Education, Mindful Schools, Penn Program for Mindfulness, Jefferson’s Mindfulness Institute, and ClearLight Meditation Institute.
