Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Testimonials

We are proud to share the following comments from past participants in the National Liberty Museum’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a diversity event at the National Liberty Museum. I was speechless and truly awed by the great lasting beauty and meaning of the exhibits. The facilitator was exceptional and brilliantly brought to life each exhibit as he took on the very tenor of what the museum stands for. I was so moved by all that I saw and heard. In fact, when I’m feeling challenged by diversity issues in the workplace, in my neighborhood, or on the trolley car, I’m coming back to the museum to be strengthened, renewed, and reminded that diversity is really life and life is diversity. -PECO an Exelon Company, Credit Specialist

“We chose [the NLM] because the museum showcases heroes –both past and present– who took risks to fight for liberty. We worked closely with the team that focuses on D&I activities. They listened, offered viable options, and had a genuine interest in wanting to partner with us to accomplish our D&I goals. The NLM team is extremely knowledgeable about the many facets of D&I and skilled at building a program that meets the needs of outside organizations-Wells Fargo Bank, Learning & Development Senior Manager

“We had a great session. The start to our day was special and your staff did a great job. The next part of the morning was so linked to many of the things the NLM staff spoke about. We were focused on Gender Diversity and had a strong emphasis on unconscious bias. A perfect fit. Also, the leaders had fun!” -Dow Chemical, Learning & Development Manager

“I can’t thank you enough for our experience today. It exceeded my expectations even an hour into it! Your venue is incredible and your D&I specialist did an amazing job facilitating. I have been to a lot of diversity and inclusion events and eventually it all starts to sound the same. Your facilitator delivered these concepts in a fresh way and blew me away. I have never seen a group of Wawa people so engaged throughout the entire day. The layout of the day was perfect, food was amazing and both facilitators did an outstanding job with their discussions.” -WaWa, Inc., Diversity & Inclusion Specialist
