The Liberty Walking Tour is a 90-minute guided experience that explores over twenty Philadelphia historic sites while telling the stories of both famous and hidden Heroes of Liberty. In addition to tales of the Founding Fathers, you will hear the often untold stories of women, African-Americans, LGBT activists, Native Americans, and many different religious congregations from the 1600s to the present. Walking in the footsteps of these heroes from the past can inspire us all to find our place in the story of liberty.
Walking Tours for the general public take place on Saturdays and Sundays during months when the weather is favorable. They have been discontinued for the winter. Please check back in early spring for an announcement that the Walking Tours have resumed.
