What is the rental fee?

Facility rental fees vary according to gallery used, number of guests and days scheduled. The rental fees are based on a four-hour event.

What's included in a facility rental?

Facility rentals include use of the room that you have selected; selected number of tables and chairs.

Who are your caterers? Can we use our own caterer?

The National Liberty Museum has a list of preferred caterers that are authorized to use the Museum. Although the Museum does not have a full kitchen on site, space is made available to caterers for final food preparation and set-up. For a list of our caterers, please call our Facility Rental & Events Manager at 215-925-2800, ext. 129.

When is your Museum available for private events?

Lenfest Liberty Hall, Coming to America Gallery and the Education Center/Chihuly Gallery are available during daytime hours, evenings and weekends. Other galleries are available during the evening only, 7 days a week. Events requiring use of the entire Museum may not begin earlier than 5:30 pm unless otherwise agreed upon by the Museum. Events ending after 10:00 pm may be charged for staff overtime.

Is donated wine or beer permitted?

Please check with your catering company. Is donated food permitted? Unfortunately, it is not permitted

Can we use candles?

No candles, flames or any other combustible materials are permitted.

Is music or dancing allowed?

Because of the nature of the Museum content and galleries, events with dancing are not permitted unless otherwise agreed upon by the Museum.

Where do my guests park?

Valet parking can be arranged by contacting Park America, Brian Lipkin at 610-617-2100. Self-parking is available around the corner at The Bourse parking garage at 4th and Ranstead Street and at several other nearby parking facilities.

Are there discounts on certain nights or months?

We would be happy to discuss this possibility with you for events that are held on non-peak evenings.
