Peace Day Philly promotes personal, local and global peace in conjunction with the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21. The National Liberty Museum will be celebrating Peace Day for an entire week to give visitors the opportunity to participate in this important occasion.
The Museum’s special activity for Peace Day “Week” will be a scavenger hunt throughout the Museum. When you successfully complete the “hunt,” bring your sheet to the front desk and we will ring our exact replica of the Liberty Bell for you. What a great way to bring the concept of peace to life!
We are also offering special admission during Peace Day “Week.” Simply mention Peace Day at the front desk when you arrive, and you will receive the discounted adult admission of just $5 per person!
TEACHERS (and parents): We have also prepared several Peace Day educational resources to help you share this important celebration with young people.
