Memorial Day at the National Liberty Museum

May 28 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Honor, explore, and be inspired this Memorial Day. At the National Liberty Museum you’ll discover stories of both military heroes and ordinary citizens who contributed to preserving our country’s liberty. The sights and sounds that greet you in every gallery echo a sentiment you are not likely to forget: Everyone can Live Like a Hero.

Admission on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, is “Pay What You Wish.”
All activities are included!

Sight + Sound Creative Workshop, 11:30 am
In this workshop for kids (recommended for ages 5-10, but all are welcome), a Museum Educator will play selections of music and encourage our young visitors to express the sounds they are hearing as a work of art. This activity is presented in conjunction with our current Sound + Vision exhibit. Caregivers must accompany children at all times. Materials are included.  Preregistration of participating children is required. REGISTER NOW!

Military Trivia, 1:30 pm
Come test your knowledge of United States military history from the Revolutionary War to present day. You’ll have the opportunity to compete for prizes, while learning some surprising facts about our military. This activity takes place in Liberty Hall. No preregistration is required.
